What needs to be ready
Before your deadline (January 2027 if you are a company, July 2027 if you are self-employed), these points must be sorted out:
1. Run a current version of Odoo
If your Odoo is 3 or 4 years old, it probably needs an upgrade. It is not a whim: the new versions are the ones that include Verifactu compliance. The good news: upgrading your Odoo is something you do normally every so often, and we take the chance to give you new features too.
2. Your company's digital certificate
The same certificate you already use to file taxes online with the Tax Agency. If you do not have it, the FNMT issues it for free within a few days. You need it so your Odoo can communicate with the AEAT.
3. Correct tax details
Tax ID, complete fiscal address, business activity. It sounds obvious, but it is the number one cause of problems: in many companies the address is incomplete or the postal code is wrong. We review it in the initial audit.
4. Adapted invoice template
The invoice PDF you send to the customer must include a QR code. If you have a template with your logo, your colors and a carefully crafted design, do not worry: we adapt it without losing the branding.
5. An informed admin team
The day-to-day barely changes, but there are a couple of things to know: an issued invoice cannot be modified (it is corrected with a credit note), and you must keep the numbering sequential. A one-hour session with your team and you are set.
6. Testing before go-live
We run tests in a Tax Agency pre-production environment. We issue test invoices, check the QR code and validate that everything works. When everything is OK, we make the final switch. You never notice the process.
We take care of it for you
A 30-minute call, a firm quote within 48h, deployment in 1 week. You just invoice.
Install and configure VeriFactu in Odoo
Making Odoo VeriFactu-compliant is not just about enabling an option: you have to review the invoicing series, the formats, the tax details and check that every invoice meets the required verifiability and traceability standards.
At Nextdoo we handle that installation and configuration from start to finish. We review your current Odoo or set it up from scratch, adjust whatever is needed and validate that the invoicing is correct before you issue your first compliant invoice.
The result is worry-free, compliant invoicing, without you having to get into the technical side. As an Odoo Silver Partner, we leave it running with your day-to-day operations.

Why it pays to adapt in time
Leaving VeriFactu compliance to the last minute usually turns out expensive: rushing, risk of penalties and decisions made with no room to spare. Adapting your invoicing ahead of time lets you do it calmly, test and fix things if needed.
At Nextdoo we approach it as a well-defined, hassle-free process: we review how you invoice today, configure Odoo to meet the regulations and validate the result before you issue compliant invoices. As an Odoo Silver Partner, we keep the legal side covered so you can focus on your business.
