01 · General About Odoo and Nextdoo

What is Odoo?

Odoo is open-source business management software (ERP) that integrates more than 82 applications (CRM, sales, invoicing, accounting, inventory, purchasing, POS, e-commerce, manufacturing, projects, HR, helpdesk, marketing, website, subscriptions, digital signature and many more) into a single platform with a unique database. It allows you to manage all company processes without separate tools.

Do I need a partner to implement Odoo?

It is highly recommended. An official Odoo SA certified partner provides needs analysis, configuration, data migration, training and support. Without technical expertise, the risk of failure is high. Nextdoo is an Official Odoo Partner in Spain, based in Cunit (Tarragona), with its own team and no outsourcing.

Where is Nextdoo based?

Based in Cunit (Tarragona), serving all of Spain. Local team in Spain, no outsourcing. CEO: Jeanlouis Boulanger. We work remotely with clients across Spain and Latam, with in-person visits when needed for discovery or go-live.

What is the difference between Odoo Community and Enterprise?

Community is free but has basic functions and no full Spanish accounting. Enterprise includes the General Accounting Plan (PGC), native VeriFactu, AI, official support, mobile app and advanced modules (email marketing, helpdesk, subscriptions, advanced manufacturing, planning). For Spain, we recommend Enterprise.

Is Odoo or SAP better for an SME?

For SMEs, Odoo is more agile, affordable and quicker to implement. SAP is powerful, but too complex and expensive for small and medium-sized businesses. Odoo offers similar functions for a fraction of the price.

Is Odoo secure?

Yes. Data encryption, automatic backups, role-based access control, MFA and audit log. On Odoo.sh, the infrastructure is managed by Odoo SA with an availability SLA and automatic backups.

02 · PRICE AND PROCESS Cost, timelines and trial

How much does it cost to implement Odoo with Nextdoo?

The cost depends on the scope, the number of users, the modules and the complexity of integrations. Standard micro-SME cases start from indicative low four-digit figures; medium-sized SMEs are usually in the mid-to-high four-digit range. Every project is finalised after a free preliminary qualification with a fixed budget.

How long does an implementation take?

It depends on the scope. MVP implementations will be operational in 2-4 weeks. Complete projects with complex migration in 30-60 days. The industry average is 3-6 months. We accelerate with our own methodology and AI agents in discovery, configuration, and migration.

¿Cómo funciona la prueba de 28 días?

From /prueba-gratis you set up a complete Odoo 19 Enterprise environment in 60 seconds with demo data for your industry. 15 days without a card, pre-installed modules, forms and sample data to validate before migrating. Renewable in good faith upon expiry.

What is BOO Deploy?

It's our automatic Odoo testing engine. When you request the free trial, BOO Deploy creates a dedicated Odoo 19 Enterprise database on our infrastructure, installs the relevant modules for your industry, loads demo data, and sends you the access details in less than 60 seconds. No manual intervention.

Can I take advantage of the Kit Digital with Odoo?

Yes. Odoo fits into several categories of Kit Digital solutions (Process Management, Electronic Invoicing, Customer Management, e-commerce). Nextdoo is not a digitalising agent, but we implement Odoo in coordination with the digitalising agent you choose so that the aid covers the corresponding part. We advise you on how to fit your project into the Red.es categories.

Do you offer continuous monthly support?

Yes. Implementation packs include hypercare during the first 30 days (60 days in the Business pack) as intensive support after go-live. Continuous monthly support is contracted separately after this phase: a monthly time bank with a response SLA for functional queries, small improvements, report adjustments, and instance monitoring. We'll give you the details in the Discovery call.

Do you provide team training?

Yes. Each implementation includes training for the end team by module. Online or in-person sessions in Tarragona. Recorded material and role-based manuals. We can also train key users who then train the rest.

03 · VeriFactu and regulations Tax compliance in Spain

Does Odoo comply with VeriFactu?

Yes. Odoo Enterprise is certified for VeriFactu from July 2025 in versions 17+, 18 and 19. It issues invoices with a QR code and verification hash. Nextdoo ensures that your VeriFactu configuration is correct from day one, including automatic submission to the AEAT and SII in real time.

When is VeriFactu mandatory?

It will be mandatory for companies from January 2027 and for self-employed individuals from July 2027. All invoices must be issued with certified software that guarantees traceability and immutability. It's better to migrate before the Q4 2026 rush.

04 · Migration and data Moving to Odoo from another ERP

Do you migrate from Sage?

Yes. Migration from Sage 50, Sage 200, ContaPlus, Sage Despachos. Guided process with balance sheet validation in a test environment before go-live. Usually 2 to 4 weeks. We don't lose the historical data.

Do you migrate from Holded, A3 or SAP?

Yes. As an Official Odoo Partner, we also migrate from Holded, A3 Wolters Kluwer (including A3CON), Gestión Click, SAP Business One, Zoho CRM, Bitrix24 and other systems. The destination is always Odoo Enterprise. Each migration starts with a data map and balance sheet validation. We guarantee a rollback plan.

Yes. When a case doesn't fit the standard, we develop custom modules following Odoo's guidelines (without patching the core). We leave the code in your own Git repository. For example: Nextdoo SM (motorbike vertical) and BOO Deploy (testing engine) are our own modules.
